Troub leshooting P rinter Problem s
Transport Area Jam
Follow these steps to clear a media jam from the transport areas:
1 Open the front cover and
pull down the transfer/sepa-
ration charger guide
(labeled A1).
2 If the most of the sheet of
media is visible, pull and
turn the fusing unit knob
clockwise while removing
the paper.
3 If the media is stuck at the
registration roller, turn the
roller knob counterclock-
wise, and remove the
jammed media.
4 Raise the transfer/separation charger guide back into place, and
close the front cover.
