To clean the separation pawls, follow these instructions:
1 Push the fusing unit
release lever to the
left and pull the fus-
ing unit out until it
stops. Place your
hand beneath the
fusing unit and
push the release
lever to the left once
again to remove it
completely from the
internal compart-
ment.

2 Place the fusing unit on a level surface so that you can see
all four separation pawls.
