Scanner Diagnostics (continued)
Set Machine Motor Speed
The SET MACHINE MOTOR SPEED test changes the factory calibrated
motor speed parameter. Only the Customer Service Engineer (CSE) does
this option, so a password is required to gain access.
This is a protected
function. The diagnostic password must be entered in order to gain access.
Read NVR
The Read NVR test allows the examination of the contents of the non-
volatile RAM (NVR). The service center may ask you to provide this
information when calling for service.
From the SCANNER DIAGNOSTICS menu, press the Next key until READ
NVR is selected. Press the Enter key to confirm the choice.
The READ NVR screen is displayed, with xx shown for all the NVR values.
Press the START key to read and display the actual values.
Press the Next key to scroll down through the rows of values. There are 16
rows of values in all.
Press the Exit key to leave the READ NVR screen.
