Getting to know the 8825/8830 DDS
The Scanner (continued)
Document Handling System
The Scanner is equipped with a Document Handling System, useful for
holding multiple documents that are to be scanned.
DDS User Interface
The DDS User Interface, mounted on the Scanner but electrically connected
to the Controller on the rear of the Printer, allows selection of media and
features, and contains a Graphical Display for the communication of
information and instructions. The display may be adjusted upward for better
viewing. Underneath the display are buttons for viewing, selecting, and
acting upon information in the display.
The lamp for Roll 3 (R3) is not present on the 8825 DDS.
