1. DURABILITY FURTHER IMPROVED BY 3-CYLINDER 2-STROKE ENGINE
The current E60H has gained a high evaluation as a commercial use outboard motor.
The crankshaft center bearing and cylinder body have been newly designed to give more
durability.
1) Center bearing:
The crankshaft center bearing has been changed from a ball bearing to a roller bearing.
This has resulted in giving more durability for the center bearing.
2) Cylinder body:
With the cylinder body, the shape of the water jacket has been partially changed to provide
more durability.
As a result, the heat stress generated when the engine is running is prevented from
concentrating at one point. By dispersing the heat stress in this way, the engine is provided
with even better durability.
