3. Install the oil pump assembly 3 by align-
ing the oil pump gear with the crankshaft.
NOTICE: Before installing the oil
pump assembly, make sure to fill it
with engine oil through the oil pas-
sages a.
Installing the oil filter bracket
Do not reuse a gasket or O-ring, always
replace it with a new one.
1. Install a new gasket 1 and the oil filter
bracket 2, and then tighten the oil filter
bracket bolts 3 in the order 1, 2, and
so on.
2. Install the oil filter union bolt 4, and then
tighten it to the specified torque.
3. Install a new O-ring 5 and the oil pres-
sure sensor 6, and then tighten the oil
pressure sensor 6 to the specified
torque.
4. Add a small amount of engine oil through
the oil passage a of the oil filter bracket.

Oil filter union bolt 4:
34 N·m (3.4 kgf·m, 25.1 ft·lb)
Oil pressure sensor 6:
18 N·m (1.8 kgf·m, 13.3 ft·lb)
