Installing the shift cable and throttle
cable
Before installing the shift cable and throt-
tle cable, make sure to adjust the cables
according to the procedures in the remote
control operation manual.
1. Remove the rubber seal 1 from the
retaining plate 2.
2. Remove the retaining plate 2.
3. Remove the rigging grommet 3.
4. Remove the cable holder 4.
5. Route the shift cable 5 through the bot-
tom cowling.
6. Fit the cable holder 4 into the groove a
in the shift cable 5, and then install the
cable holder 4 along with the shift cable
