2.Drilling
Drillφ14attheexpansionboltholemarkedontheoorwith
adepthof90mm.
Makesuredrillisperpendiculartooorwhendrillingwithper-
cussiondrill(orhammer).Holdhandletightlyandverticallyto
avoidsway,otherwisetheoorwillbedamagedandholewill
beenlargedandinclined.Ifooristoosliptopositiondrillbit,
cutadentattheperforationpositionwithpunchrsttohelp
locatingdrillbit.
Useavacuumcleanertoremovethedustafterdrilling.
Note:
Markinganddrillingarefundamentalforhardwareinstallation.
Inaccuracywillimpactfollowingoperationsandaffectproject
quality.Operationqualityisessentialforensuringwhole
projectquality.
Result:Adjustablebasehasbeenpositioned.
InstallingAdjustableBase
Toinstalladjustablebase,performthefollowingsteps.
1.Installexpansionbolts
i.Beforeinstallation,cleanupdustinsideandoutsideholes
withavacuumcleaner .
ii.Placebasetoseeifthisisalignedwithholes.
iii.Removewasherandnutfromexpansionbolt,andputex-
pansionboltandexpansiontubeintohole.Hammerexpan-
sionboltusingarubberhammeruntilfullexpansiontube
oftheexpansionboltentersintooor .
2.Adjustbase
AsshowninFigure16,loosethehighlockedboltonadjustable
base,andadjusttheexibleframeaccordingtothearrowdi-
rection.
