When a UPnP device joins a network, it announces its presence with a multicast message. For security
reasons, the LTE2566-M634 allows multicast messages on the LAN only.
All UPnP-enabled devices may communicate freely with each other without additional configuration.
Disable UPnP if this is not your intention.
18.3 UPnP Settings
Use this screen to enable UPnP on your LTE2566-M634.
Click Configuration > Management > UPnP to display the screen shown next.

18.4 Turn on UPnP in Windows 7 Example
This section shows you how to use the UPnP feature in Windows 7. UPnP server is installed in Windows 7.
Activate UPnP on the LTE2566-M634 by clicking Configuration > Management > UPnP.
Make sure the computer is connected to the LTE2566-M634. Turn on your computer and the LTE2566-
M634.
1 Click the start icon, Control Panel and then the Network and Sharing Center.

LABEL DESCRIPTION
UPnP Select Enable to activate UPnP. Be aware that anyone could use a UPnP application to
open the Web Configurator's login screen without entering the LTE2566-M634's IP address
(although you must still enter the password to access the Web Configurator).
Apply Click Apply to save the setting to the LTE2566-M634.
