CHAPTER 7
WAN
7.1 Overview
This chapter discusses the LTE2566-M634’s WAN screens. Use these screens to configure your LTE2566-
M634 for Internet access.
A WAN (Wide Area Network) connection is an outside connection to another network or the Internet. It
connects your private networks such as a LAN (Local Area Network) and other networks, so that a
device in one location can communicate with devices in other locations.
3G and 4G standards for the sending and receiving of voice, video, and data in a mobile environment.
You can insert a 4G SIM card and set the LTE2566-M634 to use this 3G/4G connection as your WAN.

7.1.1 What You Can Do in this Chapter
Use the WAN Management screen to configure the WAN settings on the LTE2566-M634 for Internet
access (Section 7.2 on page 52).
Use the PLMN Selection screen to specify the type of the mobile network to which the LTE2566-M634 is
connected and how you want the LTE2566-M634 to connect to an available mobile network (Section
7.3 on page 54).
Use the IPv6 screen to configure the LTE2566-M634’s IPv6 settings (Section 7.4 on page 55).
Use the PIN Management screen to enable or disable PIN code authentication (Section 7.5 on page
55).
Use the Data Usage screen to specify limiting the amount of the package data and view the LTE2566-
M634’s traffic statistics (Section 7.6 on page 56).
