The filter function
The filter function*
This function is used to filter the calls meant for another person (example: Assistant/Director).
Two programmable keys must be used on the "Assistant" set (filtering set) and "Director" set
(filtered set), one to enable or disable filtering, the other to supervise the calls on the filtered set.
Note: this function will be programmed by your system operator.
Communicating with the filter function
The keys on your set have been programmed so that the filter function can be used.
The key programmed with the filter function is used to enable
filtering from the filtered set or the filtering set.
- Press the key programmed for filtering.
The indicator associated to the programmed key lights up
on the filtered and filtering sets.
An audible message and the display indicate that the
action has been validated on the filtered set.
You are FILTERING:
You want to call the designated user of the filtered set:
- Press the key programmed for supervision.
The indicator associated to the programmed key lights
up.
An inbound call for the filtered set arrives:
The display indicates that the call was intended for the
filtered set.
- Pick up the handset.
You are in communication with a party and you want to
transfer the call to the filtered set:
- Press the key programmed for supervision.
You can wait for the party to answer or hang up
immediately.
The indicator associated to the programmed key lights
up.
