Structure of
the data block
The log is read by repeatedly loading new values into the data block in
backward or forward direction in time.
The event appearing in the first position in the data block has the entry number
indicated by Entry number register. In case of backwards reading the events in
the other positions follow in ascending entry number order, i.e. going towards
older events. In case of forward reading the events in the other positions follow
in descending entry number order, i.e. going towards more recent events.
