4.5.2. Replacement of serial measurement unit

Refitting, serial measurement unit
The procedure below details how to refit the serial measurement unit to the robot.
6. Unscrew the four hexagon nuts on the
serial measurement unit enough to enable
lifting the unit.
Do not remove the nuts.
Shown in the figure Serial measurement
unit layout on page 138.
7. Lift and pull the serial measurement unit
backwards, over the lip (A), and lift it away.

1. Fit the serial measurement unit on to the four
pins (A).

2. Slide the unit into position, within the lips, and
secure with the four hexagon nuts.
Make sure the unit is positioned as straight as
possible! The push buttons can otherwise get
jammed.
3. Reconnect all the connectors to the unit. Shown in the figure Serial
measurement unit layout on page 138.
