Inspecting the oil level in axis-4 gearbox
Use this procedure to inspect the oil level in the axis-4 gearbox.

Move the robot to the calibration position.2
DANGER
Turn off all:
• electric power supply to the robot
• hydraulic pressure supply to the robot
• air pressure supply to the robot
Before entering the robot working area.

This is a precaution to reduce the tem-
perature dependency of the measure-
ment.
Make sure that the oil temperature is +25°C
±10°C.

Open the oil plug, filling and inspection.5

Measure the oil level.
Required oil level: 0-10 mm

Adjust the oil level, if required.7

Tightening torque:24 NmRefit the oil plug.8
