26. Click 50% Cal Point. The Enter 50% Calibration Value dialog displays with the target mid
value automatically calculated. For example, 750.000 for the range value of 1500 (
Figure
7-31).
27. Adjust the calibrator to apply the mid-range value (50%) of the signal range. For example, if
the signal range of the external device is 4 to 20 mA, apply 12 mA.
28. Observe the value in the Current Reading field (Figure 7-31
). The displayed voltage value for
12 mA is approximately 3 Vdc When the value stabilizes, click OK.
