Appendix — End of Meter Life/ Backup Battery Removal
Note: Carry out this process only when you no longer intend to use the meter. The meter will no
longer operate once opened to remove the backup battery.
Step Action

Remove battery door.

Insert small screwdriver blade between case above the USB
port.

Pry case open with screwdriver. Continue prying around the
case until the case separates.

Remove backup battery and dispose of battery and meter
properly.
