Configuration
The Configuration menu is used to manage all de-
vice settings.
Ensure that the date and time are set correctly.
ATTENTION:
Subsequent alterations may lead to loss of data.
Ensure data is backed up promptly.
Overview
Language, video, time, date,
mouse, password, daylight saving
time and other settings.
Required network settings (manual
IP, DHCP, PPPOE, DDNS etc.) and
overview of network status.
Settings for the serial interface (for
servicing purposes only).
Settings for the alarm I/Os for the IP
cameras.
Display settings and assignment of
the event output.
Response of the device in excep-
tional cases (hard disk drive full,
network disconnected etc.)
Adding and changing users and as-
signing access rights.
Setting up the back-up function in
the event of device failure.
General settings
On-screen display language.
Video output format at BNC video
output (PAL/NTSC).
GMT (Greenwich Mean Time).
Slider (left = low speed,
The wizard will appear when the
system is started up.
A password does not need to be
entered into the recorder itself.
However, the password does need
to be entered if accessing via the
network.
