General tab
Set the transmission speed of the in-
tegrated network card here.
Tip: 10M/100M/1000M Self-adaptive.
Tick the box if the IP addresses on
the network are assigned dynamically
via DHCP.
DHCP enabled: subsequent entry
fields are set to disabled because pa-
rameters are obtained via DHCP.
Note:
If the IP addresses are assigned
manually, ensure that DCHP is not
enabled (do not tick the box).
Address of the network device on the
network when assigned manually.
Gateway address for internet access.
Local (link local) IPv6 address.
Global (global unicast) IPv6 address.
IPv6 gateway address for internet ac-
cess.
Hardware address of the integrated
network card.
Describes the maximum protocol
packet size.
Address of the domain name server,
usually the IP address of the gate-
way.
IP address of the alternative DNS
server.
In certain modes some of these settings cannot be
selected.
PPPOE tab
Tick the "Enable PPPOE" box. Then enter your user
name (internet access ID) and password and confirm
your password.
Apply the data by clicking on Apply.
If possible, only use PPPOE when no router is
available.
DDNS tab
To be able to use the ABUS DDNS function, you first
need to set up an account at www.abus-server.com.
Please read the FAQs on this topic on the website.
Tick the "Enable DDNS" box. Then select "DynDNS"
as the DDNS Type and enter the www.abus-
server.com IP address in the "Server Address" field.
Apply the data by clicking on Apply. The IP address
of your internet connection is now updated on the
server every minute.
