ENGLISH
PLEASE NOTE
The radiographic system “Xmind®dc” complies with the requirements when:
the absorbed current is 5.2A±10% at 230V
the absorbed current is 9.5A±10% a 115V
Otherwise, check the electrical system or call the “Assistance Service”.
STEP 6 : checking the electric system
To check the electric system, a tester must be used, in the mode voltmeter in AC:
1. Connect the instrument to the terminals L and N on the timer.
2. Measure the line voltage.
3. Connect the instrument to the terminals L and N off the wall plate terminal board.
4. Set an exposure time of approximately 3s on the timer.
5. Proceed to the exposure and measur the line voltage during exposure.
PLEASE NOTE
The electric system complies with the requirements when:
(V0 – V1 ) / V0 is ≤ 0.03 (3%)
Otherwise, the electric system must be adjusted.
8.2. CHECKING THE EXPOSURE FACTORS
In order to guarantee the safety of the radiographic system, it is necessary to set up a periodic control schedule
of the exposure factors.
The responsible organization is required to organise and observe a control schedule of the exposure factors as
detailed in this chapter.
All the following controls must be performed every 12 months.
CAUTION
During these procedures X-rays will be emitted. Please take every necessary precautions in order to avoid accidental exposure to ionizing
radiations.
STEP 1 : Checking the radiographic voltage (kVp)
The radiographic voltage is measured using a calibrated “no invasive” instruments.
SET TECHNICAL FACTORS
NOMINAL VOLTAGE Vn ± 10%
MAXIMUM VOLTAGE DROP 3%
NOMINAL HIGH VOLTAGE 60 / 70 kV
NOMINAL CURRENT 4 / 8 mA
SET EXPOSURE TIME 3,2 s
The radiographic voltage is 60kVp / 70kVp ±10%.
