Starting Adobe LiveCycle Designer (Windows)
You can start the Adobe LiveCycle Designer application from within Adobe Acrobat
Professional while initiating a forms-related task to perform in LiveCycle Designer or
start LiveCycle Designer as you would any other stand-alone application on your
computer. (For complete information on using Adobe LiveCycle Designer, choose Help >
Adobe LiveCycle Designer Help in Adobe LiveCycle Designer.)
Note: Acrobat comments and file attachments in a PDF document aren't included in the
PDF document copy that is opened in LiveCycle Designer.
To start LiveCycle Designer outside Acrobat:
Click the Windows Start button, and choose either All Programs > Adobe Designer or
Programs > Adobe Designer 7.0.
You can also start LiveCycle Designer while initiating a form-related task for a
particular PDF document, such as converting a static form to an interactive form. Just
choose the command for the task from the Form Tasks menu in the Tasks toolbar or the
Advanced > Forms submenu.
