Replacing Fluidic System Consumables
Every two months or when prompted by
NovoExpress Software.
Replace 0.05 µm Sheath Fluid Ultrafiltration (UF)
Filter (Optional)
Every two weeks
Preventative Maintenance
It is recommended to conduct preventative maintenance once every month to
ensure the fluidic system is in optimal condition.
Clean the Sample Injection Probe (SIP)
If the outer surface of the sample injection probe is dirty, follow the procedure
below to manually clean the outer surface of the sample injection probe.
NOTE
The procedures described below may vary if NovoSampler Q is used. Please refer
to NovoSampler Q Operator's Guide for more details.
1 Ensure the instrument is powered on and NovoExpress software is launched.
2 Click Instrument > Shut Down on the NovoExpress software.
3 Select Clean sample injection probe option and then click Yes button in the
prompted window. NovoExpress software will guide you to conduct the
cleaning SIP procedure.

NOTE
The instrument will shut down directly if Clean sample injection probe option is not
selected.
4 Follow the instruction in the software to remove the sample tube from the
tube holder.
