3 Installation
This chapter provides information on how to install NovoCyte Quanteon
instrument and associated standard accessories, including installation warnings,
space and environment requirements, instructions for lifting and carrying, and
installation procedures.
Installation Warnings
Ensure the instrument is powered off and is not connected to the workstation
through the USB cable before installing or relocating the instrument.
Do not operate the instrument in an environment where potentially damaging
liquids or gas are present.
Please make sure the instrument is properly connected to the auxiliaries and
reagent containers. Incorrect connections will result in damage to the
instrument or cause operation failure.
Do not loosen or remove any screws or parts other than those specifically
described in the instructions for instrument installation or maintenance.
Doing so may affect instrument performance and void the instrument
warranty.
