Example
The following example configures the timeout interval to 5 seconds.
radius-server deadtime
The radius-server deadtime Global Configuration mode command improves RADIUS response time when
servers are unavailable. The command is used to cause the unavailable servers to be skipped. Use the no form of
this command to return to the default configuration.
Syntax
radius-server deadtime deadtime
no radius-server deadtime
Parameters
deadtime — Length of time in minutes during which a RADIUS server is skipped over by transaction
requests. (Range: 0 - 2000)
Default Configuration
The deadtime setting is 0.

Example
The following example sets the deadtime to 10 minutes.
show radius-servers
The show radius-servers Privileged EXEC mode command displays the RADIUS server settings.
