Maintenance suggestions

WHEEL
SEPARATION:
1. On the first trip, tighten wheel nuts after first 300 km.
2. Thereafter, check lug nuts before each trip.
3. Following winter storage, check lug nuts before beginning a trip.
4. Following excessive braking, inspect lug nuts.
5. See Specification in this manual for wheel torque ratings.
Every 1,600 km (1,000 Miles) or 60 Days:
• Check escape window latches and hinge operation.
• Check battery water level.
• Test smoke alarm and replace battery as required.
• Check tire pressure (See Specifications).
• Check hitch for loose bolts or unusual wear.
• Test GFI circuit breaker.
Every 8,000 km (5,000 Miles) or 90 Days:
• Lubricate exterior door locks with dry graphite.
• Lubricate exterior hinges with light household oil.
• Lubricate LPG hold down with light household oil.
• Check LPG regulator bottom vent for obstructions.
• Wheel lug nuts: see Specification section wheel torque ratings.
• Pull break away switch pin and lubricate with household oil; replace pin immediately.
• Spray 7-way plug with contact cleaner.
• Lubricate hitch ball latch with non-detergent motor oil.
• Lubricate hitch ball with hitch ball lube or wheel bearing grease.
• Lubricate main entrance step moving parts and check.
• Check water level more often as battery ages and becomes less efficient.
Every 16,000 km (10,000 Miles) or 6 Months:
• Inspect brakes, replace as necessary.
• Inspect and rotate tires.
• Lubricate spare tire carrier moving parts.
• Clean window & door seals with mild detergent and coat with “Silicone”.
• Wax exterior.
• Lubricate escape window latches with WD-40.
• Check tightness of propane bottle centre holds down rod on A-Frame.
