5. Open cold water tap on kitchen sink and let water run for 30 seconds to disinfect plumbing
system.
6. Open hot water tap on kitchen sink and let water run for 30 seconds to disinfect plumbing
system.
7. Let water run 30 seconds in the toilet, and 30 seconds in the toilet wash down spray.
8. Open cold water tap of inside shower for 30 seconds, then the hot water tap for 30
seconds.
9. Open cold water tap of exterior shower for 30 seconds, then the hot water tap for 30
seconds.
10. After 4 hours, repeat steps 1 to 9 without adding bleach in order to drain bleach from the
system. To better rinse the system, repeat this process. Only then, go to step 11.
11. Set the 4 valves on the Combi in the following positions:
• F and A Series: DIAGRAM D-1 ; photos D-2.1, D-2.2 and D-2.3
• R Series: DIAGRAM D-3, photos D-4.1, D-4.2 and D-4.3
o Position both white bypass valves horizontally (photo D-2.3 and photo D-4.3)
o Position single chrome valve on red hose drain horizontally (photo D-2.1 and
photo D-4.1)
o Flip the yellow tab to release the safety valve and leave it perpendicular to brass
body (photo D-2.2 and photo D-4.2)
• F and A SERIES: valves are located behind the sliding panel.
• R SERIES: the valves are located in the space between the bed and the wall.
12. Open hot water tap to fill the Combi water heater: this can take about 3 minutes. Once
filled, let the water run through the hot water tap for 1 minute to ensure that the water
heater is full.
13. Dump grey and black water tanks. Fill the potable water tank, now you are ready for the
camping season.
