● To use the optional air conditioning, you need to lower the bed partially or totally. The
lower the bed, the better the efficiency of the air conditioning.
● The mattress is removable, secured in place by Velcro.
● To use the FLEX bed, lower it at the desired height (a trade-off between lower bed space
and upper bed space).
● To climb in the Flex bed, climb on the countertop then onto the bed.
● Use a small step ladder if necessary (not supplied).
● It is advised to read the electrical bed instruction manual supplied in the instructions
manual pouch.
● The bed motor is electric. It is protected by a 20-amp fuse in the fuse panel under the table
at the front (photo H-2.1).
● IMPORTANT : Never raise or lower the bed if someone or a pet is near bed, on bed or
under bed.
● IMPORTANT: Before setting off with the ALTO, lower bed centre cushions should be
stacked in the centre of FLEX bed, then bed should be raised to highest position (photo
K -7). Place cushions at back of air conditioner. This avoids the risk of breaking the
mechanism.
