Anderson Group Self-loading Bale Carrier TSR-3450 – Operator's Manual 21
2.5 Hydraulic Oil Handling
Since hydraulic oil is an inflammable substance, keep it in an approved container and always handle
it with care when filling the tractor’s tank. Once filling is complete, put the tank cap back on and
tighten it firmly. Then wipe up any oil that may have been spilled. Never add oil when the motor is hot
or running. Keep a working extinguisher near the bale loading and unloading site, at all times.
Should any hydraulic oil infiltrate your skin,
quickly consult a doctor familiar with such
injuries. Any infiltration that is not treated in
the hours that follow may lead to serious prob-
lems including amputation.
2.6 Moving the Self-loading Bale Carrier
If you are driving on roads, you must comply with applicable identification and lighting regulations in
your area. We recommend you always attach the safety chains to the point of attachment between
the machine and your tractor and lock the connecting pin with a locking pin.
The bale carrier’s standard tires are generally not prescribed for long distances on public roads.
Road tires may be installed as an option on the TSR-3450 bale carrier.
It is important to attach the loading arm in the up position to prevent it from moving while traveling.
To do so, place the locking pin (A) (illustrated in its housing in Figure 4 – Loading Arm Attachment)
under the arm, in two of the holes located on either of the arm attachment brackets.
NOTE: You must place the locking pin in the holes cor-
responding to the selected arm position (see section
4.6 Loading Arm Position).
