Anderson Group Self-loading Bale Carrier TSR-3450 – Operator's Manual 57
6.3 Wheel Nut Tightening
Check wheel nut tightening after the first 10 hours use, and then after each 50 hours use. The tight-
ening torque must be 27.7 kg/m (200 lb/ft) on each nut.
6.4 Checking the Oil Filter
After each 100 hours use, you should check whether the oil filter cartridge should be replaced. An
indicator on the filter indicates the cartridge’s condition. If the indicator is green, the cartridge may
be retained, if it is red, it must be replaced.
NOTE: If your filter does not have an indicator, dis-
assemble the filter in order to inspect the cartridge
and replace it as necessary.
NOTE: The filter is under the chassis, to the left of the
tongue.
6.5 Cleaning and Other Maintenance
At the start of each day using the bale carrier, ensure that the following components are clean:
pusher frame sliding system, loading arm articulation, and scissor platform mechanism. Accu-
mulated debris (hay, dust, and mud) on or in these components may hinder their correct operation.
6.6 Storage
When you plan on not using the bale carrier for a long period, store it in a place with a flat surface.
For your security, block the carrier wheels with chocks, in order to prevent the carrier from moving.
Place the locking pin under the loading arm, as during travel (see section 2.6 Moving the Self-loading
Bale Carrier).
NOTE: Anderson Group recommends you conduct cleaning
and general maintenance for your machine before
storing it for long periods.
