34 Operator's Manual – Self-loading Bale Carrier TSR-3450 Anderson Group
Ensure that the adjustment is the same for
the two scissor platforms.
4.6 Loading Arm Position
The loading arm serves to grab the bales and position them correctly before placing them on the car-
rier . It may be adjusted to collect 70 cm or 90 cm (28 in or 36 in) tall bales.
In order to adjust the loading arm position based on bale height, proceed as follows:
1. Using the controls, lower the loading arm to the ground.
2. Run a belt through each of the lifting points identified in Figure 11 – Chain Attachment Points.
Using the chains directly instead of the belts
risks damaging the loading arm surface.
3. Attach a chain to each of the belts and connect them to your lifting device.
Be sure to use chains that can lift 900 kg
(2000 lb) each.
