3 Hitching to the Tractor
Be very careful while conducting machine
hitching and unhitching operations.
Before proceeding, securely immobilize the
machine with the devices provided for this pur-
pose.
In order to use the self-loading bale carrier, the tractor must be equipped with:
l Two (2) dual effect hydraulic control systems,
l One (1) 12-volt cigarette lighter socket in the cab.
NOTE: The instructions in this manual for hitching the
machine to the tractor are provided solely for illus-
trative purposes.
3.1 Attachment to the Tractor’s Drawbar
Before attaching the bale carrier to the
tractor, ensure that the carrier is parallel to
the ground. As needed, adjust the drawgear
head (A) with the bolts (B) (see Figure 5 –
Drawgear Head Adjustment).
If the bale carrier is not parallel to the ground,
it will not operate optimally and risks being
seriously damaged during operation.
