IP Dialing from a list
Use the and keys (or enter the number of the speed dial required) to highlight the selected profile and
press Ent to initiate the connection. The WorldCast Equinox can obtain all of the IP addresses and audio pro-
file from the IP speed dial. The screen will display progress message as it attempts to connect to the remote
device.
The Disc key is used to disconnect an IP connection – you will have to confirm the disconnect with a se-
cond press of the Disc key.
Note: Communication in regards to Equinox speed dial configuration when talking to a Mayah
Centauri 3001 with MP4 AAC LC LOAS.
To get a successful audio connection in both directions you must:

5.3. Fast Audio Profile Loading
In the same way you can use # to load an ISDN or IP speed dial you can use * to load an audio profile. To use
this feature press * <audio profile number> followed by Ent.
You can combine this feature with speed connecting as follows: -
Dial#<SDm> Dial – dial using speed dial m and current audio profile
Dial#<SDm>*<APn>Dial – dial using speed dial m and audio profile n
Dial*<APn>#<SDm>Dial – dial using speed dial m and audio profile n
Dial*<APn>Dial - load audio profile n
Dial#<SDm>*Dial - dial using speed dial m and current audio profile
Dial*#<SDm>Dial - dial using speed dial m and current audio profile
5.4. Menu Navigation
There are four main display screens on the front panel display; Idle Status and three four Main Menu displays,
USER, IP, ISDN and AUDIO. Within each of the Main Setup Menu‟s there are sub-menu‟s. These menus allow
you to control the configuration of the WorldCast Equinox and to monitor its operation and status.
This Main Menu and sub-menus are designed to assist you in selecting and configuring a wide range of options
using a combination of Menu, and , Ent/Dial and Esc/Del keys. Any option can be changed by highlight-
ing it, pressing Ent, and then selecting items from a sub-menu. Pressing Ent again will confirm the changes.
Selecting Esc will return you either to the previous menu or to the Idle Status. If you pause for a long time in
any of the menu loops the WorldCast Equinox will revert to the Idle Status screen after about 30 seconds of in-
activity.
