Enabling passwords
To enable password operation select Enable and press Ent.
Select Setup to configure passwords. The following screen will be displayed: -
Setting passwords for access levels
Use the and keys to highlight the level whose password you want to change and press Ent. You must
begin by entering the old password if you enter it correctly then you will be prompted for the new password.
You will be prompted for the new password again and if it is entered correctly the password will be changed.
The defaults passwords are: -
View Only ACCESSL1
User ACCESSL2
Administrator ACCESSL3
If you change the default passwords note the new passwords carefully there is no way to recover them and
you will have to restore the default settings.
5.5.11. Cost Codes
This option allows you to enable the use of cost codes from the front panel. If cost codes are enabled then
whenever you select ISDN as the primary network connection you will be prompted for a six digit cost code
this cost code will be stored with the information on the call in the event logs and it can be used to prepare re-
ports etc. at a later date
5.5.12. Restore Defaults
This option allows you to restore all factory default settings for the operational parameters of the WorldCast
Equinox. You will be asked to confirm a second time. If you answer Yes all of the factory defaults will be re-
stored.
