Be sure the path is clear of obstructions, including
people and animals, before twisting the throttle.
KERS Trigger Control
Pull the KERS Trigger Control on the right hand grip to
activate the Kinetic Energy Recovery System ("KERS").
This feature allows you to harness kinetic energy from the
moving FUV to recharge the HV Batteries while you drive.
When the KERS Trigger Control is pulled, the FUV feeds
energy back to the HV Batteries, and increases the charge
level.
On the Display, this is indicated on the Power Meter as
REGEN power.
Pulling the KERS Trigger Control slows the FUV down
while recharging the HV Batteries.
Note that pulling the Trigger Control activates the brake
lights, to alert other drivers that the FUV is slowing down.
