Diagnostics are displayed on the IPC4100 front panel display. You can access, control, and
navigate through the diagnostic screens using the IPC4100 front panel controls or remote
control. The diagnostics confirm proper installation, including the following:
Checking error states and signal integrity
Identifying the cable terminal on the network
Verifying communications with the headend
The following information applies to the diagnostics outlined in this section:
All indicators are in decimal notation, unless noted otherwise.
All signal level and quality indicators use a 1% to 100% scale, unless noted otherwise.
