Product features
This manual provides instructions for system operator personnel to install the ARRIS IPC4100
High Definition set-top. This unit includes a high-end processor, expanded memory, and
enhanced graphics to support digital, on-demand, and interactive services. It provides a full
complement of interconnection options.
The IPC4100 provides the following advanced functionality:
Authorization and purchase of on-demand programming
High-Definition Television (HDTV) and Ultra-High Definition Television (UHDTV) video
decoding
HDTV and UHDTV output through component video (YPbPr) or High-Definition
Multimedia Interface® (HDMI®)
Surround-sound audio through a variety of analog and digital interconnection options
Live playback and LOD buffering capabilities to pause and time shift live video and
seamlessly record for all connected televisions
Built-in MoCA® 2.0
802.11ac Wi-Fi home networking
As with all ARRIS digital set-tops, the hardware features are enabled by core operating and
third-party application software.
