TRENCHER CLUTCH LEVR
This lever (9) actuates the digging chain and spoil auger.
Push the lever to the left to actuate the digging chain and
spoil auger. Pull the lever to the right to stop the digging
chain and spoil auger.
NOTE:
You MUST be seated in the operator’s seat to
ENGAGE the Trencher Clutch Lever or the engine will
shut down in 2 seconds.
NEUTRAL INDICATOR LAMP
This lamp (10) will illuminate when the key switch is ON
and the ground drive control and the digging chain clutch
lever are in the NEUTRAL position.
RANGE CONTROL LEVER
Move this lever (11) to the left for LOW range and to the
right for HIGH range. Use LOW for trenching and HIGH
for transport or back filling. If you cannot shift the range
control into a position, momentarily actuate the Forward/
Reverse Lever (3) to let the gears in the transmission
mesh.

3. FORWARD/REVERSE LEVER
LEFT STEERING BRAKE LEVER
Pull this lever (1) REARWARD to disengage power to the
left track. Pull the lever farther rearward to apply the left
brake. Pull the lever all the way rearward to lock the left
brake.
RIGHT STEERING BRAKE LEVER
Pull this lever (2) REARWARD to disengage power to the
right track. Pull the lever farther rearward to apply the
right brake. Pull the lever all the way rearward to lock the
right brake.
FORWARD/REVERSE LEVER
Push this lever (3) FORWARD for forward ground travel.
Pull the lever REARWARD for reverse ground travel.
NEUTRAL is in the center position.

BLADE ANGLE CONTROL
Push this lever (4) FORWARD for angle right. Pull the
lever REARWARD for angle left.
BLADE LIFT CONTROL
Push this lever (5) FORWARD to lower the blade. Pull the
lever REARWARD to raise the blade. The blade control
valve is equipped with a float position. The float is
engaged when the lever is pushed FORWARD. To
disengage float, pull the lever rearward.
