Unlatch hood and raise until support rod locks into place.
One latch on each side of hood.

Check that rod (1) is positioned correctly in slot before
releasing grip on hood.

For increased service access the hood may be positioned
over center onto the front dirt guard. Push forward
slightly on the hood and push the latch toward the left
side of the slot (2), then continue to push the hood over
center.

HOOD OVER CENTER, FULL ACCESS
To close the hood from the wide open position, pivot hood
to the vertical position; position the rod toward the left of
the slot and enter the rod into the slotted hole.
