OVERLOAD PROTECTION
A 30 ampere fuse protects the electrical system from a
circuit overload. It is located in the engine compartment
near the relay panel.
If there is a problem in the electrical system, check the 30
ampere fuse. Replace as needed.
SEAT INTERLOCK SYSTEM
Your Trencher may be equipped with a SEAT INTERLOCK
SYSTEM which requires the operator to be seated in the
operator’s seat when starting or operating this machine. If
the operator does not remain seated when the ground
drive and the digging chain clutch levers are NOT in
NEUTRAL or DISENGAGE position, the system will stop
the engine in 2 seconds. It is the operator’s
responsibility to operate this machine in a safe manner.
DO NOT LAY WEIGHTED OBJECTS ON THE SEAT, BYPASS,
TAMPER WITH OR TRY TO DEFEAT THE SEAT INTERLOCK
SYSTEM.
The relays for the SEAT INTERLOCK SYSTEM are located
on the side of the engine. Make sure the INTERLOCK
SYSTEM is working properly at all times. New relays are
available from your dealer if replacement is needed.
WARNING:
The operator presence/seat
interlock system provides protection from injury.
Do not disable the system.
