TRACK ADJUSTMENTS
Steel Track Machine
NOTE:
Only make track tension adjustment when track is
too loose or too tight. Track tension must always be
correct.
Check the track tension every 50 hours of operation.
To adjust track, do the following:
1. Park the machine on a level surface, stop the engine
and remove the key.

2. Pull up the track at the center of the track frame.
Measure the deflection between the top of the track
frame and the bottom of the track. The deflection
must be 50 mm (2 inches).

3. If the deflection is not correct, loosen the four
transmission mounting bolts.
