Getting Started
This training manual introduces you to the MERLIN Plus features and leads you
through the steps involved in the use of each feature. Take a minute now to look
through the manual to see how it’s organized.
The training manual consists of three major sections:

Your MERLIN Plus Phone: This introduces you to the MERLIN Plus and
presents general information about how the system works.
Basic Telephone Features: This explains how to perform standard office
telephoning.
Programmable Features: This explains how to program and use MERLIN Plus
features to customize the phone for your needs.
You can read about as many (or few) features as you need to get started–and you
can read about the features in any order. Then you can come back to the manual as
often as necessary to learn about other features. You’ll find that the more you use
your MERLIN Plus phone system, the more features you’ll want to use.
