PLACING A CALL WITHOUT LIFTING THE HANDSET (ON-HOOK DIALING)
Many people prefer not to lift the handset until their call has been answered. For
example, if you make an internal call, you may not want to lift the handset until the
person has answered the call. This leaves both hands free to do your work while
