Diagnosing a parallel, multi or split-phase
system
Error 24 will always appear on all units at the same
time. There is unfortunately no indication, not on
LEDs, nor on a CCGX, VRM, or any other manner, to
see which of the devices caused the error. Below
procedures outlines how to manually determine
which unit has a faulty relay.
Do make sure to first, always double check option 1
and 2 in above list. Those are the common causes. In
case that doesn't lead to a solution, follow this
procedure to find out if its a relay issue, and then
which unit.
Execute this procedure right after the error occurred;
do not first reset the system.
1. Start with making a video of all units and their
LED code. Do not first reset the system; and do
not reset it after making the video either.
2. Completely disconnect all AC wiring, both in- and
out, on all units. Make pictures of the terminals; to
make sure when discussing this with an engineer;
there is no misunderstanding on what has been
meant by this instruction.
3. Now, with an ohmmeter, measure the resistance
between the neutral terminals on AC-input and the
AC-output, A working unit will show no
connection between these terminals. Also
measure the resistance between the Line terminals
of AC-input and AC-output.
A faulty unit will measure zero or close to zero
resistance.
Good units will measure discontinuity between
the Line in and out terminals. And measure a few
hundred ohms between the neutral In and Out AC
terminals.
6.1.2.18 Error 25 - Firmware incompatibility
Make sure to use the same firmware in all devices.
Update all devices to the latest available firmware.
6.1.2.19 Error 26 - Internal error
This error should not occur. Switch all equipment off,
and then on again; it will then resume operation.
Contact Atlas Copco if the problem persists.
6.2 GX error codes
6.2.1 Different origins of errors
On your CCGX, some error codes shown will be from
the CCGX itself, in that case see below list. But since
it’s the system control panel, it also shows error codes
from the connected devices.
Multi and Quattro inverter/chargers: VE.Bus
Error Codes.
MPPT Solar Chargers: MPPT Solar Charger Error
Codes.
6.2.2 Error #42 - Storage corrupt
This error means that the flash memory inside the
CCGX is corrupt.
The device must be sent in for repair/replacement. It’s
not possible to correct this issue in the field or with a
firmware update.
The affected flash memory is the partition that holds
all user settings and factory data, such as serial
numbers and wifi codes.
6.2.3 Error #47 - Data partition issue
The internal storage in the CCGX is most likely
broken: causing it to lose its configuration.
Contact your dealer or installer.
