Video Format
The Video Format menu contains information about
the current settings of your Shogun 7.
VIDEO OUT
The Format, compression rates and time remaining
on you disk are displayed.
CAMERA OUTPUT
Activating camera output will prompt the Shogun 7
toplaytheleusingtheoriginalmetadatafromthe
source camera and allow more accurate image
processing and display.
Playback Auto HDR
Engage this switch if you are feeding HDR images to
the Shogun 7 from a camera or games console that
supports HLG or PQ HDR output directly, using the
appropriatemetadataags.IfyouarefeedingLog
video to the unit be sure that this setting is off.

VIDEO OUT
The Format, compression rates and time remaining
on you disk are displayed. You may also select your
preferred SDI signal type here. When an output device
is detected the Shogun 7 will automatically deliver
an output signal over either HDMI or SDI. If you wish
to embed an external Genlock signal into the output
ensure the option is enabled in the Video Out sub-menu.
OUTPUT OPTIONS
4K to HD and 4K DCI crop options. Toggle on/off.
HDMI Timecode output can also be enabled here for
recordingfromyourexistingles.
HDR
Engage this switch if you are feeding HDR images to the
Shogun 7 from a camera or games console that supports
HLG or PQ HDR output directly, using the appropriate
metadataags.IfyouarefeedingLogvideototheunit
be sure that this setting is off.
DOLBY VISION PLAYOUT
Engage this switch if you are feeding HDR footage to the
Shogun 7 from a camera or games console that supports
HLG or PQ HDR output using the appropriate metadata
ags.EnsurethatDoblyVisionissupportedonthe
recieving TV/Monitor, select DOLBY HDR Type in the
external menu and enable "HDR Out" in the menu. Refer
to page 35 for additional information.
