How to troubleshoot ATREA DUPLEX RA5 Fan when it cannot be started?
    • N
      nbartonAug 7, 2025
If your ATREA Fan won't start, first ensure it's properly connected to the power supply by checking and switching on the upstream safety circuit breakers. If the unit is connected to power but still not starting, it could be blocked by an external input such as a fire damper. In this case, check the external input and contact a service technician if necessary. If these steps don't resolve the issue, disconnect the ATREA Fan from the power supply and contact a service technician.

Why is my ATREA DUPLEX RA5 Fan not heating or heating insufficiently?
    • E
      erik02Aug 16, 2025
If your ATREA Fan isn't heating adequately, first, check if the electric heater is properly connected to the power supply by switching on the upstream safety circuit breakers. If it is correctly connected, the electric heater thermal protection might have been triggered. Wait one hour to see if the fault clears. If not, press the RESET button on the electric heater. If the issue persists, or reappears, contact a service technician. Also, consider that insufficient heating may be due to the heater's designed capacity.

What to do if ATREA Fan is not supplying enough air?
    • P
      Pamela JonesAug 23, 2025
If your ATREA Fan isn't providing enough air, the filters might be clogged. Disconnect the unit from the power supply and replace the filter mat or cassette. If the unit has been running for over four years, clean the heat recovery exchanger. Also, check for any mechanical obstructions at the fresh air intake or supply air outlet points. Remove any obstacles and visually inspect the dampers to ensure they open correctly. If the problem persists after checking these, disconnect the ATREA Fan from the power supply and contact a service technician.

How to stop water from dripping from ATREA Fan?
    • V
      Vanessa BaldwinAug 30, 2025
If water is dripping from your ATREA Fan, it could be due to several reasons. First, disconnect the unit from the power supply. Then, check if the condensate drain line trap is sufficiently primed with water and add water if necessary. If that's not the issue, the condensate drain line might be clogged; clean it, including the trap. A compromised seal could also be the cause (potentially accompanied by a whistling sound); replace the seal. Alternatively, the condensate drain seal or line might be damaged; reseal the condensate drain. If none of these steps resolve the dripping, disconnect the ATREA Fan from the power supply and contact a service technician.
