Replacement and maintenance of the main fabric filter for RCA units
The procedure is identical for all DUPLEX R5 series units. The filter is placed in front of the internal heat exchangers.
After opening the door unlock the latches holding the filter or cassette.
Remove the frame from the unit.
Insert a new mat in the frame.
– G4, F7 the smooth side faces the grille; the grille side is always the air
outlet side.
Insert the frame into the unit, check it fits in the rails and secure with latches.
Check the arrow direction – it must always point towards the fan and
exchangers.
Insert the carbon filter mat in the recirculated
air filter frame together with the G4 mat;
following the direction of air, the carbon mat
comes first, followed by the G4 mat.
