4.2 Fitting a reducer in RB5 units
The reducer is supplied as a standard feature.
Before installing the unit, fit the reducer in the appropriate place – the unit’s outlet, and secure using the 4 bolts provided.
4.3 Changing the position of the recirculated air fan outlet in RB5 units
Any changes in the position of the recirculated air fan motor should be made before suspending the unit from the ceiling – i.e. when
it is on the floor.
Loosen the duct connection from the position it was fitted in at
the factory including the C2 reducer – on the long side – 4
bolts.
Remove the cover from the unit’s casing to provide space for
the new position of duct connection C2.
Move the duct connection to the new position – short side. Plug
the original position opening using the panelling provided. Fit
the metal sheet covers.
Secure the components in their new position.
