After the set ventilation period has expired, the command on the D1D4 input is deactivated. This function limits the duration of the
AHU’s running time.
Bypass dampers
A heat recovery exchanger bypass damper. DUPLEX R5 units have a heat recovery exchanger bypass feature. The damper can
be used, for instance, for pre-cooling the premises using outside air in the summer at night or cooling in the transitional period. This
results in cooling cost savings.
The bypass damper can only be fully open or fully closed. It is controlled based on the ration between outside air, ODA, ETA and
required temperature. The required temperature is set by the user and the opening of the bypass damper can be adjusted by this
parameter.
5.2 Control system RD5 with CP Touch controller
DUPLEX R5 units with an RD5 control system can also be controlled using a web browser. This allows users to do the following
from a local network to which their unit is connected or via the Internet:
change the unit’s user settings;
monitor operating parameters including error messages;
view the unit’s operation history;
set up to three e-mail addresses to which e-mails with Alarm or Notification messages can be sent.
The Connect server service offers a user-friendly manner of connecting to the unit via the Internet.
If the unit is connected to a computer network with access to the Internet, the unit’s default settings make it possible for it
to communicate within the Connect server service, which means that information on its status will be regularly relayed to a
server used for remotely controlling the unit outside of the local network to which the unit is connected. The data sent does
not contain any personal information about the owner or user of the unit. The user has an option to deactivate or re-
activate in the user settings menu.
To access the unit using the Connect server service take the following steps:
1. Make sure the unit is correctly configured in the local network you access the Internet from.
2. In your web browser type in https://control.atrea.eu
3. Open a new account. The registration number of the unit is in the documents supplied with the unit.
4. Choose Register
5. Enter your unit’s password. The default password is “pass“. After logging in, the password can be changed.
When connection is established, a web interface appears through which the unit can be controlled.

user manual.
