6.8 Connecting the Serial Interface to a PC
The device provides an RS-232 serial interface port on its front panel for serial
communication with a PC. The serial port interface connector depends on your device's
hardware chassis platform:

Mediant 800B MSBR:
• Port Type: RJ-45
• Cable: RJ-45 to DB-9
The serial cable adapter used for connecting the RS-232 interface is shown below:
