3. A downloaded running AutroVoice miniVES system conguration cannot be opened
The downloaded le from the system, cong.afz can be found in the tab Documents –> Selector –> Workspaces_x.x.x (where x
indicates the version of the software) –> downloadedConguration. To run the downloaded le from the system (* .afz) you need to:
1. Select in the conguration software: File> Import working area
2. As a standard, the conguration software creates les and saves them under: C:\Users\Documents\Selector\
Workspaces_x.x.x \downloadedConguration. If you have chosen a dierent access path, please choose from it the
appropriate le with the .afz extension and then select option Open.
3. When you select Open option, the system asks for the indication of a new folder in order to copy the imported content
from the system conguration. You should create a new folder, give it any name, select it and choose Select Folder
option. Please note that it is a very important step!
4. Select YES option in the window if you want to open the imported conguration
5. The conguration will be loaded – in the System connection window with the Connect option, the Same conguration
status should be shown. If Dierent conguration status is shown in the window, please select File> Load> the
newly created folder while importing the le with the .afz extension. There are conguration.afz les available inthe
location they were created when conguring the system. You have to load those les and then check the status until
it shows the Same conguration status.
4. DFMS, DMS or DMS-LCD microphone reboots when connected to the system
If you additionally connect a microphone to a properly functioning system, and it resets after connection this means that the
microphone does already have a preloaded conguration in its internal memory which is dierent from the conguration
of the system. Inthis situation the factory (default) settings should be restored to the microphone and then the microphone
should be reconnected.
5. The conguration software suspends while trying to compare the topology
oftheconguration created in oine mode
If the system cannot properly detect the devices available on the AutroVoice miniVES network and prevents assigning MAC
addresses to the conguration items created in oine mode it means that the list of devices in the Working area is dierent
from what is visible in the system. The solution to this, is to create a new project, which does not include any devices in the work-
space and then select the Recreate topology option (System> Connection Settings). In this way you get to know the correct
arrangement of the system devices in the workspace.
The arrangement of devices in the workspace should be restored to it’s original conguration created in oine mode and then
option Recreate topology> Compare should be reselected. Followed by a table appearing with all elements available in the
system. To ll in the missing MAC adresses and serial numbers, use the FIX button.
6. The system does not respond to command Restore to Factory Defaults
Each project possess its own unique Factory Defaults signature, which is available in the window: Basic Conguration> Factory
Defaults. Every time you call the Default settings, the system checks the validity of the system signature with the one located in
the congurator. Lack of compatibility will cause the command disregard.
7. How should I transfer a conguration that can be opened on another computer?
Full conguration means the device settings, source audio les, and summary of matrix, scenarios, zones etc. after conversion
topcm. It is written via Export workspace function in the File tab.
