Status overview
Depending on the condition of the projector the s tatus light may have 4 colors: Green, Yellow, Re
d or Blue. Each color represen t a
diffe rent state:
Blinking Green Projector is booting up.
Green
Projector is runn ing normally.
Yellow Projector is running with warnings. Event can go on but a technical intervention might be necessary
in the near future to prevent a com plete stop of the projector.
Red
Projector is in error state. Problem could prevent normal oper
ation. Solve the problem before
continuing with the p rojector.
Blue
Projector runs in notification s tate. Maintenance action required.
Operational mode
In Operational mode the lasers of the projector are switched OFF b ut all the elec tronics of the pro jector remain f ully operational. T he
projector is ready to activate the lasers an d project the image. The status light is not different between Operational mode and Light
ON mode.
Standby mode
If the projector is in Standby mode then the status light flashes every ten seconds. The c olor of the flash depends on the state of
the projector. In other words, the color of the flash w ill be green in normal state (no warnings, no errors, no notifications).
In Standby mode the total power consumption of the projector is less than 15W. All e lectronics are switched of (including PSU s for
the lasers) except for Cinema Controller boa rd and Local Keypad. Only the following functionalities of the projector remains ac tive:
• Local Keypad
• Router LAN and WAN po rt fully functional
• USB IN port type “B” (Virtual comport R S232)
• USB OUT port type “A” (To power handheld d evices [500mA MAX]. No other functionality supported)
• GPIO port on the Cinema Controller
Pressing the Standby button in Operational m ode for 3 seconds puts the projector in Standby mode. After de- conditioning then the
projector goes in S tandby mo de.
Pressing the Standby button in Standby mode for 3 s econds will awake the projector towards operational m ode. The status light will
blink for a few second s (booting up all inactive boards ) and then lights up continuously.
Enter or leave Standby mode can also be done via two dedicated projector c omm ands (USB /Ethernet), or via two predefined Macros
(not editable) with GPIO of the C inema Contr
oller (not the GPIO of the ICMP), or via the Com m unicator.
The projector always boots up in the same mode (E.g. Standby or Operational) as it was powered OFF.
4.3 Laser Status
About the Laser Status L ight
